Parking is available at each tour’s starting location. After your purchase tickets, you’ll receive emails with parking suggestions.

We are dog people and welcome dogs on our Eerie & Ominous tour. In accordance with town and municipal bylaws, pets must be on a leash at all times and you are responsible for picking up after your pet.

Due to food safety laws, pets are unable to accompany you on the Pirates & Pints Pub Crawl. If you travel with a service animal, please reach out in advance.

You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the tour with only loss of booking fees. Cancellations with less then 48 hours of notice are non-refundable. There is no refund for no-shows.

Children are permitted on the Eerie & Ominous tour however we advise you to use your discretion as we will be sharing some spooky stories.

Children are not permitted on the Pirates & Pints Pub Crawl. All participants for this tour must be 19+.

Absolutely not! Our tours combine commentary, historical facts, local culture and insight into a unique experience. Whether you are interested in folklore, food or craft beer, our tours are so much more then just a walk.

We have carefully selected our food samples with our partners to showcase Yarmouth’s unique food scene well.  These selections include seafood, meat, wheat and dairy products. We can not guarantee arrangements can be made for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and/or other food allergies.

If you have severe food allergies to seafood, nuts, gluten or dairy, a food tour may not be the best idea for you

Of note – our Eerie & Ominous tour is allergen free! Consider this tour as an alternative option.

Yes. Advanced ticket purchase is required. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book in advance.

Bookings will close 6 hours before the tour departure time. Please plan accordingly.

We do not provide a waiting list. If a date and time is sold out, there is a chance that we will add an additional tour on that day. Please email us to let us know what date you are interested in if you do not see availability.

Gratuities are greatly appreciated if we exceed your expectations, though are not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%. We also love reviews on Trip Advisor or our Facebook page so others can learn about Yarmouth Walking Tours.

Yes. Bathrooms are available during the tour at select locations.

Tours will only be cancelled in the event of heavy rainfall or lightning. Fog, light drizzle or wind will not affect our usual schedule.  We advise you to check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately.

Tour routes are an average of 1 mile and may include some hills and stairs. Please use your own discretion in regard to this manner. We will do our best to accommodate mobility challenged individuals with enough advanced notice. Feel free to contact us if you need further details.

At this time, our tours are offered in English only.

We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate events, conventions, school trips and more).

First and foremost, we recommend that you bring your camera so you can capture all the beautiful scenery and views.

Otherwise, simply be mindful of the weather. When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. During the cooler seasons it’s important to wear an extra layer of clothing and consider bringing gloves. If it looks like rain we suggest bringing an umbrella or waterproof jacket.
